Camps Bay Attractions

The Beach - Camps Bay beach is just one of the many Camps Bay attractions on offer. With spectacular views of Lion's Head and the Twelve Apostles mountains, together with its white sand and striking blue sea, it's easy to see why!

It's long stretch of beach makes it the perfect location for sunbathing, and regularly attracts thousands of beautiful beach goers every year, especially during weekends and public holidays. Camps Bay beach is also popular for team activities like frisbee, cricket and touch rugby.

The sea is, due to Camps Bay’s protected position in the bay, quite calm and good for swimming, albeit a rather cold swim!

The area also boasts a stretch of lawn in front of the beach, popular with families and picnic lovers.
